Our Annual Holiday of Hope is almost here! This is a great day for adoptions and to get the community in the holiday spirit.
In order to have this event be a success, we need your help! We are looking for people to bake and donate cookies for the Bake Sale.
Here are the details:
-Bake a little or a lot! There is no limit for the cookies. People usually bring 2-3 dozen.
-It's fine to use nuts. Please designate that your cookies contain nut products for those with allergies.
-Please bring the cookies to the Humane Society of Genesee County on Thursday, November 30th or December 1st between 8 am and 5:30 pm.
-Bring cookies in a disposable container. We will bag the cookies at the Humane Society.

The Humane Society of Genesee County offers a 45-minute interactive tour with our humane education specialist. The tour is available for groups up to 20, and is available for preschool age to senior citizens. We are asking each group or volunteer to bring their own garden hand tools (the garden will be “prepped” and ready for planting), and a flat of any (or all!) of these flowers (please plan on 1 flat of flowers for every 3 people planting):

Kids Who Care is on June 10th this year! This free annual Humane Education event featuring guest speakers ranging dog obedience, veterinarians, farm animals and more! Children will have the opportunity to visit with each presenter in a group, become an "Animal Ambassador" and receive medals & certificates. Lunch is included. Limited to 200 children. Must be accompanied by adult or guardian (one adult per five children or less).
